I just wanted to drop you all a quick line & let you know that this old buggaa jack is still in the land of the living although have had a little rough stint.......not complaining though. My good friend here reakons only the good die young, so I shall probably be right for a bit longer.
Finally made it back to the place that I am presently calling home & am going to take my vehicle down tommorrow so the work & fun can begin with preparing it for the future travels.....with a bit of luck I will have the van in another few weeks & can set off to terrorise the general public at large
My notebook pc is a bit wobbly like ole jack & I will hopefully get around to replacing it in the next week or two, funds permitting, I'm looking at getting back to the forum & seeing what new tricks you can teach me!
Hope everyone is well, I really miss this connection
Hi Gubby & Gerty. Yeah gert, its a bit like that. I like getting the information of the forum, so much experience here and its one of those only things that free in this world
Wow FF, U certainly know how to make a bloke feel special. I turned on the pc this afternoon determined to make it in and say howdie to ya all. I shall get through a few jobs this week & with a bit of luck will be sporting a new pc very soon. This one still works fine but the screen goes fuzzy and THE MAN quoted me a big price to replace the screen & due to its age it would be much better to buy a newer one. I have to see some friends and get their advice on what I should look for.
As I said before, Im not much good with the techno stuff but I can lift heavy things
Well FF, everything seems to be progressing nicely with the van & the tug should be ready to tow in a couple of weeks time too. My friends want me to hang around here until July, so it probably shall all come together about then. Its the end of may ya know........not long now....... fellas, lock away ur ladies

We have a trip planned for August, west from Brisvegas to the camel races in Tara and then south to Armidale and Emmavile fossicking, on to Hillend prospecting and then over to the coast for some spring sunshine.
But in two weeks we are going to the border ranges for a month on a house sitting job
Gee life is tough

Hey Jack, great to have you back - I missed you too! No trips planned for at least a month - I took Esmeralda to get a "makeover" today where I caught the awning in a tree on my return from the shake down trip. Also someone has side swiped her when I wasn't around - looks like a small job to me but am a bit scared after taking her to get fixed. Two insurance claims and two lots of $200 - oh well she will be as good as new when all is finished.

We have a spare laptop that you can have, I just spent a few bucks on getting fixed up for SWMBO and when we got it back, she decided that she liked my spare laptop better.
If it will help you out I can find out what it would cost to freight it to you.
