Hi Just caught up with Ma and Blue what a great couple they are had a really pleasant couple of hours with them thanks for the hospitality Ma and Blue safe travels.
Did you give them some of your home made cake? I promoted your culinary skills before they got there. It's always great to meet fellow nomads, and to meet them again.

Hi smokeyydk, Yes they are a great couple we thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with them we will have to try and catch up with you as we don't live that far away from each other. Helena.
Yes indeed. Lovely people. Looking forward to seeing them both again at the Chinchilla Free Camp. Bring your long-johns Ma, you might need them in July, but there's plenty of fire-wood.
You guys better stop with all the accolades or there is a swelled head coming up..........Blue's of course NEVER mine.........
Believe me Helena makes the nicest lace I have ever seen. So delicate and fine. I will treasure the bookmark she made me. Helena and Bill are two of lifes gentle people and such bundles of information. We had a really good couple of hours.
We had a gread morning with Dave and Rosie they took us to the "nudie" beach, but unfortunately it was too cold for having a dip. The winery we went to had some really nice beverages so just had to indulge with a couple of bottles of red.
Dinner at their place was great too, they even got out the best crystal for us, just like I do when we have guests for a meal...... Dave and Rosie are two people you could spend lots of time with and never get sick of their company. Hopefully we will be able to tag along together at some stage.
We caught up with Mick this morning, top bloke. Very down to earth and easy to talk to.
Christine called in on her way home from shopping and we renewed old acquaintance, haven't seen her for a couple of years and it was just like we had seen each other yesterday.
Mick and Christine are coming over for happy hour this arvi........should be a good time
Doug, we were there in July the last time we came and after the -2 degrees we had out at the bush camp I think we will be able to manage. We will be leaving home around the 2nd August to come up but will take our time and come inland and are allowing about 10 days or so to get there so should see you around the middle of August. Can't wait.
Thanks everyone for your hospitality and kind words.
They are a pretty special couple aren't they Helen, but don't tell Blue I said that mate.
Your turn for a catch up next isn't it Chris?
Yep! Just got home from Happy 4 Hours. My jaw aches. A former GN member Mick The Mongrel was also sharing the moments. Their new van is very swish, well designed, and looks very comfortable. I won't tell Blue he's special. He's a legend in his own lunch box, and that's the gospel according to Blue. He told me so. Ma agreed. I think she's special too. Always nice to catch up with fellow GN's. If they stay in parks I'm in a good position to meet them.

We had such a good time last night that we are having a repeat performance tonight followed by dinner................Heaven only knows what time that will be.
Blue said to tell you he's a god NOT A LEGEND......well in his own mind at least.......
Just reporting in - dinner was beaut as usual. Not only can Ma drive a truck but she can cook too. Blue's really scored a winner there. He's ok too for a god with a little "g". He's returning to his rightful place under THE rock any day now. It was a very enjoyable evening again. You should have been here.
