Had teacher friends here from NZ last week. Just retired, he was a Principal.
He was telling me of something suggested that he read in NZ education bumf, about allowing text type spellings in exams.
Who knows ? Suppose " LOL" and " IMHO" might be allowed on the end of every line as well.

should it be select... tools/Internet options/General/Langages-------etc.....well thats what my IE9 version does.........but theres so many versions available.
Back on topic (sorry) In a Nursing Home, I once called a dear 97 year old man who was very ill "Darling" in front of his daughter who complained to my boss. I apologised to his elderly wife and explained "Its because he really is a Darling" and she thought that was great and thanked us all for our loving care of him. I guess some people get offended more easily than others.
