I know you have all been waiting to hear this news so I will try not to keep you waiting much longer, I know I will make use of this item on our next trip, I was thinking it maybe a satphone but when the postie delivered it this morning I said to Mrs wombat that the parcel was not big enough to be a satphone, so I unwrapped the pacel the postie had delivered and I now have in my hot little hand a copy of the Hema Outback Trip Log, thanks to Grumpy and all the team.
I will have to try harder in the photo comp for the satphone
This trip log will be used on our next trip.

CG I sent a pic into the Weekly Mailbag for a comp run by grumpy, as nobody else entered I did sort of win, grumpy was not sure if I should get the prize so he/she put it to a vote of the members. very funny and we all had a great couple of weeks grumpy counting vote's and me lobbying members to vote, I even voted for myself
sorry,forgot that bit, it's an outback trip log where one write's down date, location,speedo,fuel used,fuel cost etc also you can keep a log of the pictures you take on your trip, and in the back is a map measurer
