WA Joint Get Together - Friday 8th July to Sunday 10th July 2011

Hi Folks,

Jayco Gypsy (Cathy) asked me to post this here, it is a joint get together with two other forums, Friday 8th July to Sunday 10th July, 2011, all welcome including day visitors.
If you want to go and don't have Cathy's contact details, pm me and I will pass it on.
See Cathy's message below;

Hi Vic

I just listed it on Caravanners Forum and CM. I'm going to be there Friday morning the 8th of July and leaving Sunday afternoon (10th).

If I can get a shift swap I will go Thursday.

Thanks for your help. Hope you can make it

Regards Cathy.

Additional info from Cathy;
G'Day All a couple of us are going to Heron Pt (Peel estuary) Friday morning July 8th to Sunday 10th July. There are flushing toilets but no power or water - no site charges but a limited number of sites also a boat ramp. Camp fires allowed. Any one in the vacinity welcome to join in or drop by for a chat/meal. The more the merrier kettle is always on.

More info from Cathy;

Just consulted the BOOK :o it has two spellings Heron/Herron Point. Priceless Campsites & Rest Areas J Holland GPS Reading 32 44' 29S, 115 42' 37E. Travel down the Forrest Hwy (Freeway) from Perth turn right into Heron Pt Road and follow to the end turn left into the campsite. First bit of road is bitumin then a short lenght of good gravel. About 7klms from the freeway. I found it on Google by typing in Harvey Estuary WA. :?

I am not too sure at this stage Wombie, but I can tell you they are a great bunch of people, some from other forums or anyone who is interested.

Here is a link which gives a bit more detail for anyone who is interested, click on;

We're in WA - at present in the Perth suburb of Wilson but if we are still not already heading east by 8th. July maybe we would like to join up at Herronb Point. We have stayed there earlier this year. Cheers Alice
