Sorry to hear your news Milo especially as you have had such a good time away, and yes life is too short that is why you need to use every day as if it is your last, it may have been a blessing for your Aunt as she may have been in a lot of pain try to think of it that way. Helena.
thanks guys, this isnt the first time ive been thru this with some one with dementia, my mum plus another aunt has dementia too, doesnt even know me... very sad,....
Sorry to hear that milo, It's a bugger getting old, when we are in our 20s hardly anyone we know dies, when in our 30s a couple we know die, when in our 40s quite a few we know die, when in our 50s a lot we know die, in our 60s they seem to be dieing all around us, and when we hit our 70s, well look out, it could be us next,
When my time comes, i hope it is quick, i shudder at he thought of a prolonged undignified death, Keep your chin up, and enjoy 'the moment'
P.S. i see by your new Avatar, you gave up on buying a campervan, and bought a new boat ?? Nice one Milo see ya dazren
Unfortunately that's the down-side of getting old. The inevitable happens. Unfortunately it's the people left behind who hurt the most. Love them, then we have to let them go. Remember the better times.
