After being housebound for around 8 months finally able to get back on the travels will be leaving in a couple of days only for a month but hey at least it is on the road. can't wait Helena.
Go, go, go! A weekend away is as good as a holiday when you're out of the house and in new or favourite country. I did a job from Tailem Bend to Adelaide, but not the normal way. I had to lead the oversize bulldozer from Murray Bridge to near Mannum, to Cambrai, Sedan, up Accommodation Hill to Truro, Gawler, and then into near the city via the Main North Road. For all you eastern staters there are no tollways here. Yippee! The hardest part was guiding the 4m wide, 5m high, 15m long truck and 'dozer along one of Adelaide's busiest metro roads at 4pm. I got to see the River Murray looking absolutely resplendant in full flow below the cliffs at Tailem Bend. The crops have just broken through the ground giving the paddocks a shade of green, and everything looked beautiful, even the road-wise rabbit which avoided my wheels. (I'll explain it if you ask) My point being, I was out there, enjoying the drive. So folks, just get out there and enjoy the drive.

Good on you Helena. Just to get out there is the plan, even if only for a week or so. A month is a good time, better than nothing. If it wasn't so cold down here maybe I could get away for just a few days at a time after next week. Just not sure where to as everywhere is so cold.
The nights are cold everywhere, but the days may be a bit warmer at Mildura for you HW. Just that sunny thaw feels good when everything around is cold and damp.

Thanks guys know it will be cold there but just pile on the layers of clothes should be O.K. we are determined to get away if we stay home any longer will probably go insane just not used to be so housebound. Helena.
