Its a dreaded NQ vampire dragon fly that only eats cochroaches from south of the border.The vampire curlews eat them.They go hunting close to state of origin, and are attracted to people in blue clothing..............Watch out!

Thanks for that warning Bill. I'll make sure I take my XXXX brand vampire dragon fly repellent on a daily basis when I head north.

There is also an antidote which comes in a bottle with a 9ft white bear on the front, but the cure might be worse than the bite. Don,t worry-once bitten , you move to NQ, and barrack for the Cowboys, and the QLD State of origin team.Its called"the grin and bear it"cure..........

Unfortunately the grin and bear it cure could have those nasty side effects, ie barracking for the poddy-dodgers and the Qld origami team!

Whats a "poddy dodger". Is he related to Duck dodgers of the 24th and a half century?I know what origami is -I can twidle my thumbs with the best of them.Perhaps we can have a state of origin thumb twidling competition................

Poddy dodgers were cattle rustlers who stole unbranded calves, hence the cowboy connection.
