I also want to know where the Mad Max car was?
I knew a bloke who had one. Maybe it's his. Great beast anyway.

I've been to the Charleville Police Station. Yes, I was in trouble, and I needed to buy a Record Of Movement Log Book really fast. As it was, it cost me $400 because I didn't have one.
This book is a useless triplicate publication for we escort pilots who frequent Qld.
No one knows what the book is really for, but you have to have one or pay the price. That's administration to a ridiculous degree.
That's Qld.
A great state, great people, pity about the roads and the leaders.

 Gday...

The Mad Max car is usually parked out in the street outside the Silverton Pub ..... ya can't miss it - and sorry to say ..... but it is a replica - not the actual one from the movie.

Cheers

John

We spent Christmas at Dorrigo about 4 years ago B.  Ham sangas and bubbly beside the river...........heaven.

There is a lot to see up there and make sure you take your walking boots as a trip down to the bottom of some of the falls is just magic.

There is a paddock out the west side of town that has all these old steam trains and rolling stock just sitting there.  I think they are trying to raise money so that they can put them on display.

Take your time there is a whole lot to see.

There is a shop on the corner of the main street which has some interesting old stuff in it, you just have to be there when he decides to open.  No set times either.

Enjoy

Gosh Billee - going to be cold down that way - especially near the sea - but love Dorrigo - the road out down to Coffs is pretty steep - we saw 2 breakdowns and a caravan left by the side of the road on our way up a few years ago. Happy travels!
