well .. just 12 months ago I experienced the hospitality of Far Nth Qld for the first time, and it brought me back again .. just love it here !!
Another successful Rodeo has come and gone .. the attendance figures were down on the previous years but unless you were told that, you probably wouldn't have known .. but it stayed dry which really makes a difference to an outdoors festival.
I'll now be heading south tomorrow morning .. which is somewhat sooner then first anticipated but hope to come back up here again in the not-too-distant future .. I'm travelling to Naracoorte in SA to see my dear Mum who has taken ill and also to catch up with my (2) lads living on the East Coast of NSW
It was great to still meet more of the GN group .. and renew friendships of previously met GN's. My intention is to still attend the "Gunbower Island" get-together later in the year, so will hopefully see some of you again .. and meet some new faces too.
Hope your mum is OK Jonathan. It is worrying when you parents are getting on - mine are both in their 80s now and I worry about them all the time as they are getting frailer and frailer.
