If you get a chance go and check out "THE WALL", best thing about nurri. Normally drop in once a year for a few days to visit my sister. I reckon the place is over rated, the barrossa in general. Dont mind a few of the reds though, brother in law works in the industry, makes for some good deals. cheers blaze
The whispering wall is quite neat. If you like a nice red, may I recommend dropping into the Wolf Blass winery. Very nice. William Coulthard is the founding father of this lovely town. It must be very cold there in the evenings? I do say I quite like that area. The local pizza place does make a nice pizza.
Last time I was there, there was an immense flock of Galaghs in the paddock out back of the CP.
They covered the ground like a carpet .. eating grass seeds I suppose.
As I walked amongst them they just opened up into a 'hole' that went where I did .. just like those schools of bait fish with sharks swimming thru the school.
Hi Sandra, went to Maggie Beers Farm today...... yummy food and lovely atmosphere.
Hi Gordon, Will have to find where the whispering wall is...... and yes - meniere's is not something that I would wish on anybody. I know the effects of it all to well.....
Yes HW Maggie Beer's Farm Shop is not far out of Nurioopta and they have food going all day AND they have cooking demonstrations at 2pm each afternoon.. Not always Maggie though....
Hi Cupie, Lots of birds in the late afternoon but none otherwise - I think the mornings are too cold for them.....

When we were there a few years ago Blue decided to walk to the other side while I stayed on this side. My mobile rang and he could even hear my daughter talking to me on the phone. How amazing is that!
