Where's my chocolates?? I called around to see Sam yesterday around 4pm to ask about checking the clutch as well. Thanks Ken Thomas for pointing out if motor worn, clutch might be too. Sam said yes will be looking at that possiblity as with the motor out its a lot cheaper to replace clutch at same time than have to take everything out later if clutch packs up. So its very likely she will get a new clutch as well as motor and speedo. Who knows even a new starter motor and/or battery as forgot to ask him if he had worked out why she wouldn't start on Tuesday morning. Myrtle's heart is now out. As of last night. I'm having fun buying her new gifts in readiness of packing her back up when she gets home. Bought a benchtop oven today from Safeway, its a toaster/ bake/grill, small but I don't have a lot of room for big things.
Oh boy Vic, you are treading on thin ice there mate.................
Errrr.......I was referring to all the extra chocolates and gifts from well wishers she would have to carry....At least that's my story...........and yes I am a chicken !

I haven't got any choccies in the house at the moment, bad luck. I normally buy a couple of the Aldi bars that look like Moro Bars but half the price, as a treat for the weekend but have already eaten them and the weekend has only just started. Might have to go for a walk to the nearest shop.
They said about 2 weeks wombat and she has been in there since Tuesday. I am enjoying the walking as have got quite fit, will come in handy while travelling and wanting to bushwalk.
What a celebration that will be! I'm glad she's getting the works in rehab. AFter all this, with some care and maintenance she'll give you many kms of happy motoring. By the way Marj, what brand was that oven? I'm looking for a little one with 1 or 2 plates on the top. I've seen a bigger version at HomeArt, but I think it's too big for what I want to do. Grilling cheese sambos or toasted sambos. I don't cook inside the van.

The one I got doesn't have the hotplates on the top was 29.99 from Woolworths. I don't need the extra hotplates as have gas hotplates in the van and also a portable gas cooker with the gas cannisters for outside. The one at Aldi was 99.00 and had to solid hot plates on top. I think the Aldi one might have been a Lumina brand. (or similiar spelling) I will take a photo and put up here of the one I got. Mines a Presto, never heard of it but all I need.
