Well...we all talk about it.

We all talk about it and this I think comes pretty close to the "it".  We all want a reasonably priced site, power, spotless facilities, helpful operators, roomy with well kept grounds and no frills other than  a little extra in the hospitality department. How about a Tuesday  'Pizza'  night. Six bucks a couple for freshly delivered pizza's. No pool ....but Pets pets are OK if well behaved. This is pobably true of the patrons also as the operators were very pleasant and helpful but I don't think they would suffer fools gladly. Less than $30 a night [sadly thats all the time  we had] personally I would have stayed for another pizza night. Never been before but will go again.where? Sarina Palms Caravan Park, Sarina.

Just south of Makay........No connection just thought it was what we all or most say they want.

This is a good recommendation. Can it be added to the recommendations posts?

was passing thru Sarina many years ago(25 years ago to be exact) enroute to Townsville and needed to replace a blown tyre there. Found the local tyre shop and could not have asked for more helpful people. Service with a smile and ready to offer needed advice. Good to hear things have not changed

Sarina Palms rates with usw as the cleanest, tidiest park we're ever had the pleasure to stay at.
This together with friendly owners and free tea and coffee onhand 24/7 in the camp kitchen.
The only downside is no pool which is generally a must for us in Qld, but we'd never pass through Sarina without staying at least one night.
Cheers, Ozjohn.

Agree with the above posts.

We stayed there on the way thru in 06 and put it on our 'prefered park' list.
