I'm glad the show was on this weekend.......cause I now finally sold my 4 year old campertrailer.....the chap that purchased it..went to the show and couldnt believe the prices or quality some were.
Gave it a miss this year. I get too frustrated with the crap the sales people spout to the unwary, prospective campers and nomads. My neighbour went today, but haven't heard her report yet.
The parking and admission fees are enough to put anyone off.

Entry was $10 and Parking was $6. I was very disappointed with it this year. Not nearly as many vendors there used to be. Was mostly just caravaning...very little camping. As I'm more of a bush camper at the moment, I think I'll be giving the next few shows a miss and instead go tothe 4x4 shows.
Some of the caravans seemed to have only been recently built as many had a glue like smell to them.
My neighbour bought the fancy salt and gave me a taste. Mmmmm.... would be good on just about anything savoury. She also bought some stick things which can be used to seal plastic bags, similar to zip locks. She thought there was less than last year as well.

No garlic. Was dinner out with some friends and then back to our house for fire in the chiminea. Many bottles of wine were consumed. The food was fantastic though.

Ha Ha...if the garlic was involved I could imagine....
Had some slight repercussions from the massive amount of indian consumed last night. Thought it best to have a good old fashioned plain Tbone on the bbq for tea tonight.
Going to try my luck with a nice meatloaf tomorrow with some of my new found salts.
Was certainly less vendors this year. Does make me worry about the status of the economy right now.

Love curry (and garlic) some of my favourite food !!
Yes the economy is still a worry world wide, don't let people fool you that WA is the richest state, these riches are in the hands of a few, mainly in the mining sector. Businesses closing up everywhere, our A'Van agent (Outdoor Marine) is closing it's doors, selling off stock at the moment, the marine section has been around in WA since Adam was a boy....
