After a 10 month trip we are all most back in Cairns. We are a bit behind schedule as we stayed too long in Port Linconln S.A.. Since then we have been battling the cold weather. Because of this we have had to buy a new heater and electric blankets. Bloody cold at -4 in Peterborough. We have met some great people as we travelled around and we beleive you socialise more at free camps than caravan parks. IMHO Fae has done more talks for Register4 NBCF than you can poke a stick at, mostly in the outer country areas. We will be home in the Cairns district for a couple or three months then we will do another trip through country NSW down to ViC hopefully. We wont leave it so long to run north next time. We were very lucky though to miss all the floods as we moved around, they called us the rain bringers for a while. In Charters towers at present, still chilly at night but the days are great
