Hey all fellow GNs forumers...

We have now been on the road just under a month, and have made if from Jimboomba to Blackwater, currently sitting under the stars at Bedford Weir

We have had a ball, have mets lots of new GNs and even some fellow forum members in Bargara 

Life is different to what we expected - but I dont' really know what we did expect.  Still does not reall like we have retire, but only still on a holdiay

Have a ball - took us about three months till we knew we wouldn't be going back to work - so relax, the feeling will come, and you will love it. Have a great time - did you spend some time at Mount Morgan? The tour there is really good.

Rob and I were at Bedford Weir this time last year, was lovely, do they still do Sunday morning tea in the Bandstand?? Enjoy your time. Safe travels.

Time flies when your having fun. We will be on the road shortly after our son's wedding this Saturday. Can't wait!

Do they still have the sign on the dunny seat ??
put lid down to keep frogs and snakes out ??

Dun Workun - the site was damaged badly during the floods earlier this year - so not, there is not the sign on the dunny seat - unless it is in the gents.

Stevo - good luck for the wedding

Val & Rob - yes morning tea at the bandstand on Sunday & GreyNomad Hour on Wednesday afternoon - mind you, today's did not happen.

Jules47 - yes, had a couple of nights at Mt Morgan and yes, we did the mine tour. very interesting. Would recommend to anyone

Cupie, will be working at Birdsville for the races first week of September. then heading down the Birdsville track. Sorry, unless brother and fellow GNS from the north are running late, wont' be there on 21st Sept
