These operators are so cunning with their warranty fine print. You must have some come back from the dealer regarding repairs overall. Ask questions starting with the dealer and then the manufacturers etc. Your money, your Tardis, your questions, your business. Keep asking. Don't let it deflate your travel dreams Milo. Think it through, check your warranties and paperwork, and then ask questions to ensure you're getting what you're entitled to. Good luck!

Join the Jayco owners Group forum on the Jayco web site and start asking your questions of other members Milo. Being a Jayco site I am sure they have a staff member monitoring it for unhappy clients. Make sure you have covered all other avenues first though and be nice about it all.
any contact with the dealer should be in writing and register the letter, they will know you are serious and answer a registered letter 9 times out of 10.
later down the track if you have more problems the accc will want all paperwork to see that you have in fact tried to get some action from the dealer.
accc will also advise you what you can do, just make a phone call to them for advice.

Often the Jayco dealers aren't the best people to deal with. Having had a Jayco van I found it is best to ring Jayco direct, there probably was just a 12 month dealers warranty on the van part only which being a 2008 would have expired. But if it is a manufacturing fault the manufacturer still has some obligations to fix after the 12 months dealers expiry on the RV component only (standard practice in the industry).
Ring Jayco head office in Victoria and speak to them direct. Jayco have the best after sales service and they have fixed things for me and also others after the dealers warranty has expired, but this must come from the head office, not the dealer. Suggest you give them a call.
