They are gorgeous ValnRob. There's a chap who sells his homemade wooden toys at the Moama Markets and I've bought quite a bit off him for my little grandson. Trucks, trains, letters to make up his name. He does great stuff of a good size and I will be buying more with 2nd grandson due any day.
G'day all - well my internet connection seems to be ok now - so back in full swing again!! Had hair done yesterday - bit of a trim and new colour - sort of plummy/purple with blonde bits - love it! Bowled yesterday arvo - and again this morning - Esmeralda is arriving here Friday early afternoon probably - will be good to meet up with her. My car in for service tomorrow - oil chainge, handbrake adjustment and noise speedo cable - hope that is all anyway - guys I go to always give her the once over and let me know what is happening.

I am always careful Marj - apparently the robbers knew the peoples movements, so they must have been watching them and known there was something worth breaking in for.

I love salmon Marj - I want salmon before they take me out to shoot me !
Tea tonight was a T bone steak - can't remember when I had one last, but Coles had some on special, so a treat.
My sister rang today - her husband is in hospital with newly diagnosed diabetes. Is he coping? Nope. He seems to expect that she will manage it for him, learn about his diet, insulin and blood tests. Is it just him, or do other men with diabetes expect the wife to manage it for him?
No - my brother was diagnosed with diabetes couple of years ago - without his wife, he would be totally useless. An uncle also relied totally on his wife, he wouldn't even go into the information sessions, because you couldn't smoke, so he stayed outside, and she went in. He is gone now. Brother still ok, thanks to his wife.
How would some men cope if their wives passed on before them???

Thanks CG - have always gone to these guys when we travelled and were in this area, they knew us well, and I trust them totally - family business with good ethics, and a really good name in the business. Prices are the going rates.

My brother in law is useless when it comes to his health. Diabetic and high cholestoral. Ask him and its Me? I'm not diabetic. Has the full kit to do the little finger prick. My sister got it out while I was down there, I asked her to do a test on me just for fun. Found the tester strips were 2 years out of date. he didn't know, doesn't bother and goes out for big businessmen meals in between my sister trying to cook him healthy meals. He's one who will never manage if my sister went first. He can't cope if she goes away on holiday without him. Gets himself to friends everynight for dinner.
@ H.W. thanks for your comments, I haven't tried selling any, though I do make a few other things as well - could think about it, always handy those few extra dollars! cheers Val
@Travelbug - Pam, thanks for your comments, I do enjoy mucking around with bits of timber and coming up with a few things. Cheers Val
Chris and Pam - I rang Telstra, and they said they would put a stabiliser on my internet connection - wouldn't come through for about four hours - left if overnight and seems to be ok now - fingers crossed!!! as you say. Valnrob - like your doorstops as well - would go well at craft markets, if you could make enough to make it worthwhile, they are very cute!
