Sorry people, thanks forthe pm (travelbug) Abit stressed last night lost dark and a light on the dash came on did not know what it was and put towoomba on post but I am in bundaberg, another day, sunshine, new adventure, racq on their way, so all ok with the world, thanks and happy travels to all. Norma
When I saw Toowoomba Norma I thought you must have changed your plans as knew you were further north than that. Hope you've sorted out what ever the problem was and RACQ has dealt with it.
Hi Marj problem sorted well sort of I have a leaking exhaust manifold have to go to exhaust place tomorrow and get it fixed at least I know what it is and can still drive it just slowed me up for a day or two. Norma
Well I have fished once in my life and that was earlier this year after I bought a rod/reel/tackle box set up and sold off my golf clubs, the two are indelibly linked in my mind after I realized that they wouldn't fit in the Hi Ace and that I couldn't eat golf balls.
I was fortunate to catch a bream large enought to keep and promptly ruined it by overcooking it with the butter on the outside of the alfoil and drying it out in the process, never cooked before either.
Anyway I am here in Wooli some 45 kms south of Grafton in a caravan park adjascent to a tidal river and I have been into the local Bait & Tackle Shop to get much needed advice, I was told to fish before and after the high tide and with that information I bought some bait and am eagerly awaiting 8AM tomorrow morning to have another go.
That is my chat about anything and would be happy for any advice that may be forthcoming.
John

well, been for a walk today, just a short one down to bens old park and around the block.. finding it dificult to get into walking on my own, esepecially now with out ben , used to go twice a day when he was around, loved his walks in the park!
got to get my bike fixed so i can do some riding on this trip, see how things go..
Saw Diesel today, poor boy is limping badly. They have him in a fenced off small area, only big enough for his house and a small toileting area. He is looking very sorry for himself and its obvious he can't put any weight on that leg. At least I will be able to look after him if I have to stay around there when daughter goes in to have bubs.
Lovely day today (Monday) up here - cold early this morning, but will come up really nice - Helen is driving us over to Canungra today, I am bowling and she is going to do some sightseeing in the area - works for both of us - we are having a lovely time - though she did get caught when it rained yesterday - you know what it is like up here - fine one minute, clouds roll in, rain - then sunshine - oh, well washing will be dry when we get back.
