4 years ago spent 3 nights at Streaky Bay, did a couple of day trips, Cape Lebott, Coffin Bay, really loved it, hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Cheers Pauline
jimbo $33 to much agreed $29.70 we paid with discount . found out from others if we had not wanted new area with lovely concrete pads and guarenteed tv reception via hook up to their system we could have had a site for $28.00 less $2.80 so our own fault pophog
Thanks, Dazren. Did you notice the smiley behind my question? It's pity pophog, you seem not to be a free camper because the Eyre Peninsula has so much to offer in that respect.
My Apologies i did not notice your , however it is still good to ask if anyone is around the area, as we all talk together on these forums, but meeting up is not all that easy, and you often read threads where people were in the same area, but did not meet up, dazren
It's lonely because it's Winter down there. Lincoln is what I call my "home town". It blows like a bugger and it can be very cold. My daughter works in the kitchen at the Lincoln Cove Tavern or whatever it's called these days. It's a very picturesque region with so many places to check out. There are a couple of tour operators doing trips to the tuna farms, you can visit the abalone farms or the oyster farms, or the wineries and deer farms. The countryside should be looking fabulous with greeen crops everywhere. Go through the Koppio Hills for some interesting historic adventure to the Museum and the Todd Reservoir. Rug up and enjoy the your stay.
