The first pic disaster nearly happened to us and the kids when travelling through the Serengetti Park in Kenya, years ago - over zealous tour guide wanted to get really close to a bull elephant so we could see how his ears flapped when he was "very angry Bwana".... re the second pic - I have been chased off the 12th tee at the Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur by a bull monkey protecting his harem of "ladies".... also been attacked by wild geese, on golf clubs in the states... I guess thats why its all called "wildlife" lol

Why dont we notice spelling mistakes during first reading, but only after we hit submit?

Wow! Sounds like you should write a book Pete.

I've been chased by geese, goats and sheep but never wildlife.

I hear cassawarys can be nasty up around Mission Beach. Emus can kick when protecting the next.
Nothing compares to Africa though. I suppose it's part of the adventure.

Yes CG, I heard stories about Cassawarys while up north. This sign is near Mission Beach.

My Mum came from the bush, so we were aware of the dangers of Emus and Kangaroos from a young age.

Crikey - bit bigger than a kangaroo that first one! And the other one reminds me of the ad on TV at the moment with the swans attacking people in a traffic jam - I laught every time I see it.

I guess the message is, "Don't make the natives grumpy!"

Some years back when the Warragamba Dam Lion Safari was operation I recall a bloody huge male lion jumping on the bonnet of a the latest model Holden of the day needless to say the Bonnet , Roof and Boot were a write off . There was a sign on the gate that read "Poms on Push Bikes Entry Free" that wouldn't be allowed today in our nanny state
