Some more. Want to see them all? Go to: www.dutchjumbo.nl, on the homepage click on the left bottom where it says 'en verder' click flora (or fauna or anything else there) and there you go. Wildflowers WA, grasses and blackboys and the lot
I actually saw, for the first time in my life, the flower of the Mother-in-law Tongue plant today. I didn't even know it had a flower - so will take my camera to work tomorrow and take a photo of it. It looks like it's been blooming for a while, so will probably have some fresh little flowers and some older. It's very a nondescript colour, but it was simply the surprise of seeing a flower on that particular plant that attracted my attention.
I had no idea the Mother-in-laws tongue even had a flower. I used to have a plant of it but you have to be careful not to overwater them or they rot like mine did. Would be interested in seeing the flower Romy.
The thing is, HW, there were more flowers on the other side of the group of M-I-L Tongue plants, plus some dry stems of old flowers - yet I had never noticed them before. Amazing!
Yes, it is a very common plant, Boroma - and HW, about the name being unpronounceable - I agree. lol! Well ladies, I'll be off the computer for about a week now, but please keep the macro photos coming in. I'll pop back in again when I get back.
Beautiful photos in here.. I would put some of mine up but am unsure how to make them small like yours are... am not very good at this chat thing.... lolololol
Hi AmandaJayne, that's ok. If you mean a small subject photo, I use a macro lens on my camera to get really close up. If you mean small as in posting small photos, you will have to reduce them first yourself, close the program down, and then click on Reply, then look below and click on : 'Attach image' and you can then 'browse', find your photo, double click to attach it, upload it, submit it (all buttons you just click on) and your photo will be in Grey Nomads! If anyone can explain it more easily, please do so. Good luck, AmandaJayne.
