We took a guided tour of an operating Hay Street Brothel in Kalgoorlie, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and there was no sleaze. Best $18 we've spent in a long time!!!
We recommend it, if you come through Kalgoorlie, you can book through the visitor centre, theres tours every day.
Our guide was the Madam, she was a lady with a very posh accent, she gave us an interesting history of Kalgoorlies Brothels, and her own experience there, then showed us some of the workrooms.
Well, I photgraphed the "Bondage" room (with permission) but this is an open forum so I cant post the photo, even though it only shows a big teddy on a bed tied up. We all laughed as she explained what a client might want , using the teddy as a model.
Same here, a mate and I went to the Police Station to see if we would get into trouble going there for a look, they said no and directed us on where to find it.
We spoke to one of the girls at the entrance to one of the doors, and she told us most of them were from the Eastern States, they come over for a while, make their money, and then go back home and nobody is any the wiser back home on how they made their money.

Had a mate and his wife visiting, she said my shed looked like the inside of a brothel, I told her that my wife wouldn't know what the inside of a brothel looked like....

Many years ago when I was a schoolkid there was a row of Brothels with green fences along Roe Street in Perth called Josie's Bungalows.
On the way from one high school in Perth to another in Subi (no school buses then, we had to walk) for lessons, we had to walk past them on the way. Being kids, we had big bunger fire crackers and used to throw then into the front yard of these bungalows and run like hell.
However, they got wise to us and one day just as we were approaching the gateway of one, this "lady" jumped out and threw a bucket of slops containing who knows what all over us........we never did it again, ha ha.

Righto Barrie, what was amusing about cattle stalls? Is that literal, actually cattle stalls with cows, or something else? Maybe my niaivety is showing. I'll pull my jumper down over it.

I don't know what barrie is talking about, but I'm only a wombat.
Perhaps if you ask gubby or Vic they may know about cattle stalls.
Don't think he is talking about cattle as in milking cows etc
It's all about the "girls" eh? Mmmmm .... You blokes have some funny turns of phrase. I've led a sheltered life on prawn boats, cattle station and with truckies. Luckily we never stop learning.
