Hi Dog Lady,

Not wishing to be too personal, but I thought it may be a good product for the ladies with arthritic knees that make squatting difficult for those road stops behind the bushes on long trips when they get caught short.......hmm

aaargh, I think in pictureseyepopping.gif.  But you may be right, I've just seen a whole lot more of them for sale on ebay , so I guess someone must be using them.  I'm not quite ready for that yet!

Thanks for being so thoughtful Vic and thank God I have a porta potti because my knees are shot and there are many things I can no longer do - including kneeling and squatting (the porta potti is hard enough).biggrin

I don't think it is offensive at all.  It's a fact of life and if you have done a lot of travelling as I have with a female then you would know how handy these things could be.

Sorry, I don't think it is offensive at all, sorry you think so though!

How could that product POSSIBLY be offensive?

Next you'll be telling us that toilet paper is offensive because it implies that somebody might touch their nether regions with it - we couldn't have that on a family forum now could we?

How utterly ridiculous!

I can definitely see the humour in the product though! I have a vague recollection of reading somewhere else on these forums about somebody who tried something similar, with less than favourable results. Gave me a good chuckle.

Offensive???  Not likely.  These products have been around for years although probably not widely advertised.

Think Father Ted needs a reality check perhaps...........

It's OK if you have built in devices like the blokes.   I reckon it's a great idea.

Righto seems as though I am the only person who did take a stance on a delicate and personal subject.I hope that you upright people know that in some States Squatting is illegal. As for the mention of toilet paper, well that is going to far,is nothing sacred anymore?I personally do not like the shape of Coke bottles, why you may ask, well I will tell you,the bottles look like models of the human body, the shape of the bottles could easily give people with distorted minds the wrong idea.wink

We are all entitled to our opinion and the majority appear not to take offence.  Whilst I think you are wrong I will fight to the death for your right to express your opinion.

A.  If squatting is illegal must everyone stand?

B.  If squatting is illegal how did we ever get our huge sheep runs?

C.  If we cant mention toilet paper how do we order it in a supermarket?

D.  Is nothing sacred anymore - probably never was

E.  If coke bottles look like models of the human body why are they not really rounded on the bottom? Hardly anyone seems to have a "hour glass waist anymore?

F.  If I have a "distorded mind" so be it, its kept me amused for years.

G.  To my knowledge, these devices have been on sale in the USA for at lest 20 years.  cheers pete

Coca cola designed there bottles originally so as they could be identified by touch, the theory was if you were at a beach party or similar you could select the coke without needing a light.... Don't remember any mention of the human body...

Better be careful of Bananas, Cucumbers and Peaches etc..... wink

You could be correct about the altar wine Vic, I have never heard of NBC Bouncer in darts but in cricket it could be "Nicely Bloody Cracked Bouncer" as the ball was despatched to the boundry. LOLsmile.

Is Father Ted for real?????? - The shape of a Coke bottle is so that all size hands can hold onto it without it slipping, especially when it is wet!!!!!!!!!

If he is serious, I feel quite sorry for himno
