What Has Billleee Done With John

I think there should be an enquiry made here as to whether that really is John or has Billleee done away with him, acquired his u-beaut van  and replaced him with someone else. John was an old man from memory, just who is this ring in, maybe someone should call the authorities just in case poor old Johnny is laying stricken somewhere!!!!

Cheers

You should have heard what they told me over our cuppa yesterday. "What happens in Mannum stays in Mannum."
Well, what is discussed in Bolivar stays in Bolivar.
It was a very interesting story though. V-e-r-y interressting. Mmmmmmmmm.............
Now I'm not sure about these two partners in travel. They have different plans with a similar motive.
What ever happens, they're sure having a lot of fun, and that's just the way it should be.

Whatever happened to "what happens in Mannum stays in Mannum"?

I am tempted to tell the real story on what Billeee did in Mannum but no because what happens in Mannum stays in Mannum.

Mannum up and spill 'em. It is always terrible to watch the women go to work on a man.

If you don't mind me saying, in billeeeeeee's attached photo (his post above) you do look a little like Dick Emery, a comedian we really enjoyed.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVpS4kJ8ZOg

Now I'm in shock to find that Dick Emery has been gone for so many years (2 Jan 1983!).

With a little imagination while reading these threads will give you some idea.

Hmmm I can imagine both of those blokes being arrested and then the local constabulary quickly realising their mistake and elevating them to cultural ambassadors. Reckon the ladies got a bit of a scare though. Both you guys must be injecting lamb lymph glands or some other sort of miracle youth treatment though. John you look great and you will have an interesting time growing it back. Are you heading to WA at all or planning to go up the centre?

 Hi Elle,

My plan is to go round Australia via the coastal route so I will be travelling the Nullabor, before yesterday I had no fears of a head wind but now after yesterday's drive from P.P to P.A some concerns have risen. Firstly the van was flat out at 80kms and second the unseating of the pop top.

After the Eyre Peninsula Billeee and I will go our seperate ways, he has to decide whether to go up the centre or head back across to Victoria and his biggest decision is when to get out of bed. So there is a scenario all on it's own.

I had other problems later when on the foreshore I lifted the top and was in trouble with high winds, at one time I was hanging on to the handles trying to re seat it when I was off my feet hanging there making no progress. A very worrying situation when if the top had blown away I would be in real trouble, Eventually between squalls I did get it down and buckled in to place.

So today is another day and we are going into Whyalla firstly and have no plans further it will depend on how long we stay there and what happens.

John

No good re the head winds John - hang on tight - has something happened to Billeee's puter? no posts from him! Miss him - tell him we want him to c ome to Greens Lake early November - heaps to see up around the Barossa, Clare Valley - etc - then on to the Mighty Murray - take time and have a good look around and meet us over there - would be good - maybe you could hang a righty and head that way too?? get away from head winds anyway!

These 2 don't need lymph node insemination. It's all about attitude and outlook. They have plenty of it, and most of it positive.
I don't know how long they can keep it up, but it's contagious, and I caught some. Thanks guys.

That sounds bad with the pop top catching in the wind John. If I get any hint of wind I pull the pop top down. I didn't even put it up at Greens Lake last weekend as the wind was getting up and then we had that storm the day I came home, which is what you probably got caught in.
Thanks for the warning, will be extra cautious after your experience.

This is another reason why I'm getting the Air-lifters fitted before I go on the road fulltime.   Initial expense, but in my opinion, well worth it.  See the link.

Gosh John that sounds really scarey. Glad you got it sorted ok. Hope you do make it accross the Nullabor and if you go south you are very welcome to park in Denmark at my place. I am off for the 1st 2 weeks of November on a work paid for camper trip up north which I can't wait for. Otherwise I would have found any excuse to get to Greens for the get together, complete with a tent and sporting a cardboard cutout of the van I would like to buy.
cheers

Hi Elle,

I will be moving across WA and going via Esperance so Denmark is definitely on my intended route, as of now I have no idea how long it will take me to get over there but will post my progress here on the forum and in more detail on the blog.

If the timing is good I will definitely take you up on your offer.

Today we intend to drive to Cowell about 100kms and have a look round the area. Some free camping is available near there from a post on the other thread.

John

It came up this end as Tumble Bay Police Station.

Pic's have been taking a little longer to load lately.

It's actually the Tumby Bay Police Station. What I don't understand is why they keep letting Billeee out.
It's got me beat. Must be bribery and corruption to buy his freedom. Because Billeee is certainly FREE.
Enjoy.
