We are having problems with our Jayco Conquest Motor Home Grey Water tank. The tank appears to be full and when we try to empty in to the sullage point it only dribbles out and the tank still seems to be full. This is our first trip on the road and we need help?!
Hi and welcome Anne. Nice to see you here. Do you use a pump to empty the tank or is it by gravity with a hose? If it's a pump then you'll need to determine if the pump is faulty, and if so, how to fix it. If it's the hose by gravity then you'll need to determine if the hose is blocked or what is stopping the water running. After that is could be something more complicated, but I wouldn't know where to go from there. Look for the simple solution first.

ours is behind the rear wheel, we just pull out a handle type thing all the way, then all the water comes out..., try that, may have to turn it, not sure
You could try a couple of things, open the valve to drain the tank then put a hose in the drain and flush it or get some curtain wire and push it in the drain pipe to see if it is blocked. If it has been left for a long time with the grey water in it it could have blocked the drain with stuff that has settled in the tank.
Try putting the garden hose up the out let and see if you can unblock with reverse flow . Believe me it could become a messy operation so wear you old cloths and gloves . If you can trace the outlet back to the tank and can remove the pipe from the tank and establish a flow pattern then your problem is in the outlet hose . Start the simple end first before removing pumps or pulling tanks apart, may need to put some type of drain cleaning product in the holding tank to dissolve the blockage .

Many thanks for all your suggestions what I did in the end was bought one of those drain clearing things (much like a curtain wire) and cleared it that way.
Many thanks for all your advice and I am sure we will need more advice as we progress on our journey.
Cheers and happy travelling
