Wow Milo! I'm impressed! Have you tried to sell you music to other performers who may even put lyrics to the instrumental? There's some great stuff on your blog. I listened to a small section, but I get the gyst. I like it! There's potential for more.

Don't sing but spend most of my ill gotten youth in brass bands and dance bands travelling around the country side doing the small hall dances etc. Had a ball.
Still carry a baratone (mid range brass instrument) that I try and get out when on my own and have just bought a bugle and intend to play each anzac day where ever I am .

I always thought that there'd be a few muso's & vocalists floating around behind the guise of "Nomads" .. and its nice to see them coming and saying so ..
Love to be around music myself and do appreciate most types .. but can't pay an instrument or read music .. and only in the last few years have I decided to step up to improve my singing .. I have just purchased a 49 key Casio keyboard to see if I can go anywhere with that, but I'm hoping someone else here can play a keyboard that might give me some easy pointers .. also, then they can use it at group gatherings as I do also carry a Karaoke system (CAVS type) and Fender Passport Pro portable amp system ..
so .. keyboarders .. comeout of the woodwork .. ! lets hear from you ..
I always wanted to learn the piano, but as was often the case in those days, we couldn't afford the lessons or a piano. I taught myself, to a degree, on a battery keyboard. In my 30's I finally got a proper keyboard and went to lessons. I was coming along nicely until I met the 'psycopath'. He was an excellant pianist and told me I was doing it all wrong. I stopped playing and I've never touched it since.
Sad but true. I don't think I'd have the patience to start again now.

Sing a bit in the car myself - also the supermarket (and talk to myself there too) much to the amusement of other shoppers. Funniest was when I used to take my granddaughter to dancing classes and one day they were playing the music of Henry the VIIIth and my friends and I (other mothers) sat up the back singing along quite loudly much to the amusement of the dance teacher - and disgust of the girls, they were so embarrassed!!

It aint over until the fat lady sings, and I dont feel like singing just yet!
I like to sing a bit when out and about, saved me a fortune on bull bars and roo shoo's. Can see the wildlife scatter for miles. Crossing the nullabor last year we had a guy singing to us on the uhf for ages, and he had a great voice.

My memory of Henry the 8th is my childhood friend and I putting on a 'show' in the backyard, with a blanket thrown over the clothesline as a curtain, and making all the neighbourhod kids come and watch us 'perform' Henry and others.
