We are at Demaresq Dam just outside Armidale & it rained all last night & continuously all this morning. May as well stay here as I think the rain is wide spread. Long W/E here in NSW but I guess the rain will keep most people indoors. Cheers
Yep you are right Kandagal... gumboots would be a good thing to have in Wellington (near dubbo) too. Not sure if there is anywhere in Australia who isnt feeling the effects of this big weather front.
SA started it. It seems the far west around the Nullarbor to Ceduna had a huge thunder storm with large hail stones. Then is passed over everything in its way to the east coast. It blew like a bugger here most of the night, and still doing it. Even SE Qld copped it. The weather man forecasts a wet summer and the far north will get a few cyclones, some of which will cross the coast. Another wet summer folks.

Funny few days ago.the SACFS were on TV news saying this summer could be our worst for bushfires and to get out and clean up NOW!!.......funny....must had 80kph winds..and 20mm rain last night......might be a wet long weekend coming up
Not sure Ma ,,,There was a lot of wind ... I suppose some roof's would not cope with the amount of ice sitting on them ..And after rain last night will be so local flooding i say ... Not good for a long weekend a lot of extra people in area and one the road'

We have been lucky hear in Lawrance NSW not much rain. Will be hitting the road again on Sunday after housesit for 9 months and can't wait as our first stop Gyder River Bingara on Sunday then slowly move to Burke.
You will love Bingara davkar. We spent three days there last week. It's so nice and quiet but a word of warning..........IT IS SCHOOL HOLIDAYS SO GET THERE VERY EARLY to get a spot overlooking the river.
