My one and only contribution to this Topic !!!   If you can't find a site to suit you on 3,500 Acres, you belong in a Caravan Park.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Thank you so much folks for the great feedback. Keep it in mind this CP is 3,500 acres, most caravan parks are built on average 4 - 5 acres.
Yes there will be unpowered sites up in the hills section for offroad campers with no facilities except for modern shelters with drinking water outlets.
Because of the vastness of the property there will be Pet areas, children areas and peace and quiet areas. Easily put. it is going to be about 5 caravan parks in one.
As with ulara resort campground at ularu (Ayers Rock) the pet park will be fenced off not to keep the dingo's out but the pets in.
My wife Sheryl and I have travelled Australia at least 28 times and been to nearly every part this great nation has to offer and more. Our plan is to build this Park to the best of our knowledge we have learnt throughout our travels and offer vast open spaces that you can enjoy as you would if your out in the bush with all major facilities near by on the same property.
We would love your input also and need your help to get this place right. My Dad told me the secret to a successfull business is to find a need and fill it! So folks tell us your needs in Grey Nomading, and lets just make it happen.
Virtually the whole 3,500 acres will be a travellers dream village with every thing available within 7 klms.

Sheryl and I are not grumpy old children haters but we also appreciate that others enjoy peace and quiet. and that is to be respected.

As for the $50 a week, that is the base fee per couple for caravans, camper vans and tents. Power usage is on top of that, so the more power you use the more it will cost you, or if you use no power then its $50 a week per couple. Besides we want you to stay longer and relax and have great times around the campfire singing songs. AH the good old days!!!

Sounds fantastic. I would be interested in an unpowered site but also there is a need for powered sites too. I'm into nature walking and photography so plenty of trees, greenery, birds and animals will suit me and some water to sit by. And of course ablutions blocks are a must.

You need to read the original post on page 1. Yes it is a 3,500 acres of bushland park with two weirs that you can swim or canoe in, and yes it has evrything else you meantioned. You can chose a site with its own onsuite or you can rough it lol.

Sorry for the misunderstanding Gary and Sheryl. I have read the post at the beginning. I was just answering you most recent post, and the fact you were asking for ideas. Only saying that is all I need to be comfortable.
