A Grey Nomads paradise

I feel this place should be looked at fellow members.....If true...Certainly would be a Paradise

When they came on with the idea they were asking for ideas to put it together. No where near open. Doubt if they will be back after the botch up on the only thread they have ever put up. I know if it was me I wouldn't bother.

Yes, Jimbo. They have only ever made two posts and both were on thier thread. Would be nice if it was the real deal. I would be there as soon as they opened.

It was my understanding the property had only just been purchased or was about to be purchased and their thought were plans for the future.....testing the waters so to speak......don't think there is or was anything sinister about it.

Maybe they are waiting for a number of ideas to be posted before checking back, maybe they are just really busy at this time.  Not everyone is a forum junkie like a lot of us here...LOL

EDIT:

I looked back at the OP and they say they are 'buying' the property which makes it very early days yet.

I also looked at their profile and they state their location as being Adelaide which to me supports the theory that this is an idea yet to be put into place.  That's my take on it.

That was and is my take on it too Boroma, they are buying the place and setting it up and looking for ideas. I see they have been back on with and update. Will be looking forward to visiting and staying a while when they open.

Probably Beth, although being a bit of a forum junkie myself I do know how you feel.

Okay, now I know what it was all about. They said they plan to open in 2012. I can't see them having the ensuites done by then, but personally, I don't think it's necessary to have ensuites. Most of us are self sufficient. Water and dump point would be priorities for me.

And it sounds like there'll be plenty of room to section it off a bit for the different groups. They plan a fenced off section for the doggie people, and as it does sound like it's mainly for Grey Nomads, maybe kids won't be an issue.

They could have a quiet section for those who like the quiet and another one for people who like music, laughter and a couple of drinks.

Sounds good to me! smile

lol. Hope they bare in mind they cannot be all things to all people. Somebody will get upset. Don't like the idea of being fenced in with doggie people. In fact most dogs are a real hazzard for my Molls. Could you be permitted to take the dog into the quite area? I promise she will only bark if there is some perceived danger to me.

I have to protect her from the wildlife lol  (they are more capable of doing her an injury than frighten them away.)
