My chauffeur has his 66th birthday tomorrow. As he had lost his compass (which he likes to use when parking up so he can be sure of a direct line to the satellite for TV) so I bought him a new one (which he doesn't know about yet). So this morning he gets a bug in his bonnet & cleans out a drawer in which he throws all his bits & pieces & low & behold he finds his old compass. So what do I now do with the new one I bought???
hi kandagal - keep it as I bet it won't be the last time he "misplaces" the old one - mmmm I call it having a 'boy look' Unless of course you can exchange it for something really useful like new shoes, jewellery or 'pretties' for the bus :)

Oh my gosh!! Did this make me smile or what?? Hubby has the habit of 'yelling first - looking later'.
Just today, 'Can you find the spare keys for the locks on the camper trailer?' Found 'em (first box I looked in), asked if he had looked for the set he had. 'No, but they could be in the centre console of the car'!!!!!
Guess where they were?? I got the spare set back, and tucked them away again.
I just smiled at him .... and offered to make him a cuppa!

Give up Fella's, i leant a long time ago all about Female Logic ???
they give us guys two choices, we can agree with them, !! or we can be wrong ?? it is entirely up to us, I also learnt not to try and reason with the unreasonable
womens logic is You don't need a little triangular spirit level if you have two little levels set up permanently in the van facing at right angles. When you park you just check them, if they both are in the right spot You are level.
It is not only the men, I have been looking for my little triangular spirit level that I use to get the van even with for three days.
Guess where it was YUPP! in SWMBO'S pocket
Goinsoon, does your little leveller have any screw holes? Ours had, so Mr d screwed it onto the drawbar of the van... we never lose it now, and one less reason for a domestic!

I don't have a bloke to lose things. I don't have a compass, but I never get lost. Someone always tells me where to go. I've been a courier, and now I'm doing pilot work, and so they're still telling me where to go.
