hmm new neighbours = fun...???

I have my own house and live in a coldesac and usually its been pretty good.

but had 4 new families move in the last couple weeks, 2 down the cornder near the street seem to be fueding or something and always seem to have police cars around..

come home this arvo and theres 4 police cars, an ambulance and a fire truck..struth..disbelief

I dont mind saying Hi or G'day as i drive home, or have a yarn when checking the mail but thats pretty much it these days, I feel that if i dont worry any one they wont worry me..

I miss the bush so much.. our 2 great achers at kangaroo valley was heaven on earth.. all neighbers were weekenders and we had  lots of land seperating, never had this to deal with... i miss my youth..riding horses, riding motor bikes, helping the neighbours with cattle etc.... those were the great old days...

now people would rather shoot or stab you than know you.......

times have changed.....confuse

Unfortunately Milo you are closer to the truth than you realise.

There is something to be said about packing up and heading to the outback.  That's what Blue and I do.

Only come home for a few weeks at a time to check on my Mum and the rest of the family.

Think I'm becoming antisocial in my old age or is that just more wary of humankind.

Sad state of affairs really

People think I'm crazy 'cause I'd rather be living up the Cape with the Crocs. etc.    Much prefer to live with the Wild-life than most humans I'm afraid.

Cheers,

Sheba.

I live in a little town, which is pretty quiet most of the time. Don't think I could go back to the city and live - got too used to the quiet out here.
As the said in The Castle - "oh, the serenity".

Hmmmm......you might have a drug lab near you Milo, who knows these days, doesn't matter where you live now to have the odd bad neighbour or two.........your doing the right thing by just being polite and minding your own business, not worth the agro and pay back from these people you can't reason with them. Perhaps they'll end up moving or if they go to gaol then things should be quiet for awhile, lol !

I agree with Vic - these people are usually pretty transient - so will probably move on - just do your own thing - take no notice of them - chillax mate - don't let the world get you down.smilesmilesmile
