Yes Boroma. It was very hard to keep my hat on, or even stand still that day but I wouldn't have missed it and would go back tomorrow with or without the wind.
Uluru is the furthest west we have been but definitely want to see all the way west and in between. Don't have much interest left in the east coast any more. Too many people. I think I'm a bushy at heart, and don't like crowds, but just not practical to become a real one.
I like people Gary but not crowds so understand how you feel Always reckon travel is much better west of the ranges, people are usually much nicer and more genuine too.

Agree with you Gary, regarding the East Coast. Keep thinking we should go up there again but the Outback just keeps drawing us back. Don't know what it is, probably the openness but give us Alice over the Gold Coast anyday.
Sounds like it's almost unanimous so far. I always feel that when a nice place becomes well known the MONEY people move in to try to make dollars out of it. Too many others love it to death and before you know it the place no longer has the appeal that drew them there to start with. (My view of The Gold Coast, Cairns etc.) I really hope to see a lot more of the outback and the rest of the country before the same thing happens to it. I will certainly try not to be one of the people to cause the spoiling of any part of it. I can definitely guarantee I won't be killing it off by throwing too much money at it. I AIN'T GOT NONE.
Thanks Amanda Jayne. I suppose I can take credit to some degree for the photo but not the subject. Just one of many great places like it in the same area and well worth a visit, before it loses its appeal like so many other places in our country, which have been loved to death or ruined by over commercialisation.
