Just went for a little trip to greens lake and met up with Marj, Jimbo and Billeeee. The lake is full and had about 40 + vans around the place and still plenty of room.
Jim and Billeee are really just like the rest of us and like a talk and drink and just relaxing
Jim also needs to update his avator with the new coaster

Green lakes looks like the place to be, bugger its just a tad far for me to go for the weekend.. I'll get there one day hopefully, looks like a great place to kick back and relax.. have fun guys.
What a suspicious looking lot! The mind boggles thinking about the mischief you lot could get up to. If you can't behave yourselves, have a darn good time. I would have liked to be there, but after doing all those kms I'm quite enjoying the rest. I was going to force myself to mow my site today, but would you believe the park's borrow mowers are all broken. Bugger! So I did some minor gardening instead and tucked myself inside to catch up with emails and GN stuff. Oh, don't forget to have a good time.

I always leave my camping area cleaner than I found it.
It got very windy driving home, and quite blustery back here, still is. The temps are to rise to 28 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and Friday, so thinking of heading out there for a few days Tuesday. Just waiting for a parcel to arrive to pass on to another nomad who used my address for delivery. Less likely to spend money if I go hide out there for a few days after paying out for the alternator, need to keep away from the shops till next payday. Certainly can't beat Greens Lake for hiding out.
I hope to be down there NLT 2nd / 3rd Nov .. don't like to arrive late for anything. Currently, I'm still in the Western Sydney area trying to get a few 'things' done so that I can get away.
After two years fulltime, I have now decided to upgrade my Scooter (& trailer) to something a little safer. A scooter definitely has economy/fun on its side, but when travelling at road speeds and sitting between semi's and the edge of the tar .. well ..
I have been riding bikes all my life and quite aware of my vulnerability .. but love the freedom it provides ..
Hey Shaker .. I'll be able to ride closer with you now and not a hundred metres behind !
At this point in time, I'm hoping to pick up the bike trailer on/about the 27th Oct .. then pick up the Honda asap after that .. the predicament is that one must have a place to store the bike when you are 'at home' on the road ..
Will provide better details when available ..
Jon
.. and Popeye .. it'll be good to catch up with you again too .. must be about 2 years now .. !

Wow Marj that sounds very tempting with the temps heading upwards. I might whip up there myself even if for a visit and a walk again. I really should be packing and sorting (still!!!!) but a restful few hours up there sounds much nicer. Ill bring the A/T. The time is flying by but it is getting very exciting and a little daunting.... Tess
.. I've been lucky to meet quite a few GN's on my travels and although we all may have different views and concepts, we are able to meet together in a common interest ..
Yes .. I agree too .. To me its quite important. Its part of my social circle and its always good to make friends.
Some friends you might meet you might only see once in a blue moon .. others you might stay in contact with on a more regular basis because of how you relate with them .. mere curiousity is quenched once you've met someone and so it takes away that unknown factor ..
