We're just back in Sydney from McLaren Vale via the Murray, busy working out what NOT to take on the next trip. Left Adelaide on Saturday and had wet weather nearly all the way home.

It was good tht you guys were able to get away .. even if only for ashort while ..

The problem with that is it doesn't take long for it to get back in your system then it's time to go ..

Leaving Thornton tomorrow sometime - should be at Greens Lake either
Thursday afternoon or Friday - depending on whether I go the direct way or by a circuitous route.

Cheers, Es

Gday...

I am currently sitting in the Moree Showgrounds. Just got back from re-stocking my pantry for the next week or so and have done my washing and now I had better bring it before the clouds turn into rain.

Heading to Narrabri/Coonabarabran/Baradine during the week and will spend a week soaking up the Pilaga Forest.

Cheers

John

Currently in the western suburbs of Sydney at North Richmond .. not sure how long for .. but already keen to get back 'outside' ..

Soon to head out out to Gulgong to catch up with friends .. then back to Macquarie Woods near Bathurst/Orange for a few weeks ..

I intend to be around Parkes for Christmas, but soon after to head up around Tamworth .. If I can find a spot still available, will endeavour to camp up somewhere for the Festival period ..

I'm off to Cooloola Cove tomorrow, so tonight I'll sleep in the caravan at my daughters place, where she's stored, so I can get an early-ish start...not too early or I'll be in the workers traffic jam. I feel sorry for those people who have to go to work while we're out seeing the country,,,not!

I'm going to party central at my sisters, as it's b-i-l's 60th birthday bash on Saturday. Lucky they have a big yard, as there'll be 6 or 7 caravans and a couple of tents!

I'll take the laptop with me so I can keep an eye on you lot! biggrin

Hi all ..

Well, I'm currently parked on the footpath in front of my sons place near Liverpool NSW ..

All going well, next week I intend to go out to MACQUARIE WOODS which is situated about halfway between Bathurst and Orange NSW .. and to enjoy the area for about 2-3 weeks .. (or more) ..

Its located in the Camps books .. so if anyone is thinking about travelling through that area, by all means drop in and say .. Hi !

No showers, but free-camping in a really relaxing spot with some good walking tracks .. drop toilets and push button porcelain toilets .. plenty of water and also lots of barbcue spots ..

.. just a little info !

Jon

Not me!  You don't need them anymore anyway.  Mine came assembled complete on the electronic lift/drop sign.  Modern gadgets now.

I came out of nomadic retirement to get on the road in some paid travel.  Not getting out of SA much right now, but work is work, pay is pay, and it's a good life.

The grain season is monopolising our time - silos, silos and more silos.

Oh I had a transformer just for a change.

Headers last month, silos the next.

I've been home today catching up with my cooking.

How are you enjoying Tassie Ma?
Hope its warm enough for you.

Intentions. I may be taking a trip down to the west side of Melbourne sometime next week, sort of Coldstream area. My grandson Connah is down there with his mum visiting rellies for a few weeks.
I think I go down through Shepparton, Nagambie, Seymour, Yea etc. Only ever been that way once before and I wasn't driving. Should be a nice trip. Will stay a while.
