After 2 years on the road Hylda & myself have now been back home in Grafton for a month & so busy I have been unfortunately absent from my favorite forum & friends who have managed to keep me entertained & informed over the years.
Home life seems strange but there is still much to do here to keep the wanderlust away for some time yet. We hope to do little trips when we get the urge to travel but no long ones, I think, for a few years.
I have been a bit lax in doing the last entry in our blog but hope to do it soon before we forget what we did in our last month of travel.
Happy & safe travels to everyone on the road.
Cheers
Jon & Hylda
ps:I put in the emoticons just to bug the people that hate them..hehe

We have been away from home since january and looking foward to going home for chrismas for around a month. Catch up with family and a few good mates but I am still as keen as to further our adventures. I reckon my wife will bring back a pallet full of our locally produced butter though. cheers blaze
The problem with another long trip is, I would have to move all the furniture back into the garage so we can rent the house again to cover the mortgage while we are away, this is not something I'm willing to tackle again for a few years yet so, small trips will have to be the go for a while.
We also need more money to afford the Tasmanian trip, which we havn't done yet as we want to be away for a few months for that one to make the expense of taking the caravan on the boat worthwhile.
I think trips that are up to a month or 2 long at the most will be our limit for some time but, we always have the last trips 3200 photos to keep us going...anyone want a slideshow night??
Cheers
Jon

Thanks Jon. Might be a couple of years though as next year is fully booked (and in the wrong direction from you) but then again, what is it they say, the best laid plans of mice and men etc.
