Keep up the medication and the exercise, and the positive attitude.
I am sorry to hear this news, especially when you're still in the nomad "zone".
I don't have this slowly debillitating disease, but friends and relatives have, and it's no spectator sport.
All the best to you.

Re your Parkinsons. How was it diagnosed? My husband was told by a specialist over 2 years ago (he was having with tremors in his left hand) that he had the start of parkinsons. Over time the tremors got worse & also came into his right hand. Got so he couldn't handle a screwdriver etc. or eat soup without making a mess. Anyway he didn't feel that he had Parkinsons so had a think back to when the trouble first started & he remembered it was just about that time that the doctor had put him on an antidepressive tablet. So over the last 2 months he has weaned himself off those tablets (Sertralene) & would you believe the tremors have disappeared from his right hand & just the slightest trace of it still in his left hand. hopefully that will disappear also soon. He hasn't reported back to the doctor yet to tell her what he has done but will do that next week.

If the Doc puts you on medication be sure to ask about any side effects as there are some that cause  symptoms which are similiar to Parkinsons disease symptoms
