They tell me Lightening ridge was named after a farmer with his sheep was on a hill there and all were struck and killed by a Lightening Bolt?b

Actually that photo is taken around the 'area' where that 'event' was supposed to happen - up in the original mining area.

Not sure if the lightning story is valid though.
