Saw another post recently that advised that Grafton SG were subject to closure to casual camping as another nitwit...err caravan park owner had complained to council about unfare competitiion, at least in his eyes.......so until that issue is resolved, if at all, would suggest the CP at the Greyhound Club which is a bit dearer but pretty good nonetheless.
The guys have tunnel vision to think that if they close down all the cheaper camp spots we will automatically come to them & the business owners whose retail shops we frequent seem totally unaware of the dollars walking out of town to other places.
Makes you wonder about the brain power of these guys, they must think we owe them a living just because we own a caravan....well up yours cazaley.

Lived in Grafton for 20 years, my Mum and daughter and grandkids are still there, was hoping to take the van down for Xmas for a couple of weeks and stay at showground, looks like it won't be happening now, that town was once a thriving community, a very sad place now................
Well, when a lot of these places want up to $47 per night for 2 people to have a shower and use a minimal amount of power, no wonder we all, look for cheaper alternatives.
The caravan industry is booming, and one would think that it follows that occupancy rates would be increasing, so are they greedy or are their overheads just too high?
Its a bit like fuel prices , the prices go up at the time of most demand, my wages certainly never increased at peak times ,when working as a groundsman!
