Left Torbay Inlet after fishing for bream with the light rod and reel, no luck but there were fish I wasn't good enough to catch them. Had two strong bites and missed the fish by being too slow so the next time I lost half the bait by being too quick. I remembered that the phone registered some bars at the junction prior to Torbay so I stopped and was able to post to the blog and forum.
I moved on to Cosy Corner and took the camera for a walk as usual. As the day went on there were fewer vans there and I wondered why some campers came there to use the bbq facilities. After asking a couple they told me that they had come from the camping area and I was in the day visitors place. So as the day was ending I rapidly packed up and moved to the correct site only to find it was just about full but I was able to squeeze between two vans and find a spot, verywindy and just off the 4WD track but I was able to stop there for the night.
Thursday was rainy and dull so I stayed at Cosy Corner for the day. Nothing of note happened other than by Friday morning I still had 12.2 volts showing even after a day without driving or sun. Excellent result .
Just a small tip John re your fishing, when next you are in a tackle store purchase some circle hooks, these will increase your hookup rate as fish tend to hook themselves as well as fish to be released have a greater survival rate. I enjoy your reports and happy birthday for the happy day.

Thanks for the tip Bob, will be buying tackle in Denmark on Monday and will look into circle hooks.
Friday at Cosy Corner East and the weather was much better, a young couple next to me had problems starting their Hi Ace and it sounded like a weak battery so I offered my jump starter to no avail and ended up getting a deep cycle battery out but that didn't help so in my opinion a mechanic was needed. The Toyota Hi Ace was diesel and I have had no experience with diesel motors so I was of no help, another neighbour who was leaving took the young man to a point where phone access was available and he phoned for assistance and the last time I saw him he was being towed back to Albany. A warning here is that he bought it two weeks ago and obviously didn't have it thoroughly checked out by a mechanic prior to setting off and now has paid the price. It was an older vehicle like mine, all the more reason to be careful.
During the day someone put a book cabinet full of books and magazines into the amenities area and I was able to swop a book that I had read with one of the authors I used to read. Later someone put some DVDs out and I took one and watched it last night returning it this morning only to find that the rest had gone, I was hoping to get another one but someone had other ideas and took the lot.
The water pump was not pumping and I deduced that the vehicle was not level and although I was apparently out of water in fact had plenty if the vehicle was pointed the other way. There is a hill in the area so I pointed the van up it and sure enough got water for a few days into storage containers but the message is clear get water a s a p.
