Hooray! As some of you may have already noticed, the forum membership has just rolled past the 3,000 mark. It is a fantastic milestone to have reached and a tribute to all of you who have contributed and read and shared … and occasionally argued …. over the days, weeks, months and years gone by. There are some bigger travel-related forums out there … but I genuinely believe there are none with such a welcoming, generous and thoughtful membership. Thanks to you all.

I must say everyone, its been a lifesaver for howard and I, before I joined the forum I was quite alone, but now I feel so much better, I enjoy the topics, and especially
like contributing . Knowledge is a powerful thing, and we certainly get that here.
3000 members. What a great effort -and what a great resource. Have to say that you were all a lifesaver when I was getting set up. Now that I've been on the road for the best part of a year I'm feeling much more confident - confident enough to share my experience when it's needed. Congratulations to Cindy and all those who've had a part in making this forum a success.
Well-earned congratulations, Cindy; you've put a lot of work into this, and it's certainly the best, most interesting and friendliest by far that we've come across!

It's always a friendly, informative and supportive place. Congratulations to Cindy and all of us for conducting ourselves in such a congenial manner. I always feel I'm among friends here, and it's been confirmed when I've had the opportunity to meet some of you.

It's amazing how the dynamics of the forum has changed a number of times over the last few years but is still always a great place to come and catch up with like minded friends.
This was proven at Greens Lake where we were from different places, different situations, different ages and different experiences but we came together and made some great lasting friendships.
Like I often say :
' The world would be a very boring place if we were all the same!'
Congratulations to everybody who has ever contributed and made this forum what it is.
