Yes I tried it and it looks as if you can send pms anyway. I was certainly able to read my pms even though it said I couldn't

my messages are all missing now and say same as what is posted above that they are coming back
must be in limbo at moment ,anyways me patient so gonna do the waiting time.

I don't know why they had to change it in the first place. Now it very confusing to use. There was nothing wrong with the way it was before.

Hi All,
We've noticed that the PM system has a new look and feel as well. It seems our forum hosts, Sparklit, have made some changes to the PM system.  We'll certainly pass on your concerns and issues with the new system to Sparklit and will keep you informed as to what is happening.

 Just checked my emails and I have notification of a new message but there is no new message in my pms .Very strange!!!

I can access my pm's - clicked on the "new private message" bit - then clicked on the message itself - replied box down below - no problems.
