Hi all, we have returned from our cruise to NZ. Very good, too much food of course. We did have to miss going to Port Chalmers (Dunedin) & also the fiords because in the captain's opinion sea was too rough down there. My chauffeur (being the rogue he is) put a runour around the ship that the skipper had wussed out of going to those places because he gets seasick. Cheers
Sounds like you had a lovely time in the homeland. Did you do both islands. While I've got you on here, can you give directions to the Avoca farmstay, I might be down that way in the next week.
Hi HappyWanderer. Going out of Avoca heading east go about 3kms & you will see a sign post with Avoka Homestay on it. Turn left onto dirt road & go about 1km or so & you will see property on right. You can phone them on 0438 614175 or email info@avocafarmstay.com.au. If you go say hi from me. Cheers
We are discussing the possibility of doing the cruise but my wife gets very sea sick we have been told that large modern ships dont tend to rock and roll as much as they used to would be interested on your thoughts regarding the roughness of the ride and did many people suffer with seasickness besides the Captain.

Just take your green pickles and ice cream. LOL Anyone getting green was always asked if they want some icecream or green pickles. Always got them going and then just tell them to watch for a brown donut as it might be their A**Ole
