Hobbies and Handwork

Sounds great, Joe. I'd love to do that.  Please let me know when and where you are by PM. I'll be around for a while too. Monica

Bieffie, I really did laugh out loud when I saw 'ornamental firewood'. Befor I got my motorhome I told a friend that I would like to get one big enoug to put a lathe in. (I havent used one in 25yrs though). He thought I was nuts (maybe I am, but they look so cool). Great to see someone has done it and whats more makes ornamental firewood with it.
This is a great forum, lots of nice people.

Extreme Potato, I suggest you delete your email address. This is a public forum, anybody in the world can look at it, and its not a good idea to give your email address unless you want an inbox full of spam. The private messaging system is for this, then nobody can read it except the person it is intended for.

Fishing , reading , museums and local exhibitions , local pubs ( pick up some great info like . . . cheapest fuel , short  cuts , local produce ( eggs fruit & veg ) , camping spots , fishing spots . ) , crosswords ( love those cryptics ) .

Judy has her sewing machine , and does lots of knitting etc. , and sells stuff at markets when we come across them .

I second that suggestion Monica and in addition to people you will also get all the auto bots as well.

I am flat out doing nothing much & when I get done doing it I will probably start looking for something else to do. But in the meantime I must get back to doing nothing.

Thanks - I have taken out my email address - i thought I was replying personally. So how do I do that without it going to the wider forum? And what are 'auto bots'? Monica

Monica, your email address is still showing. Click on "edit post" and you will be able to delete it then "submit post"

For private messaging, click on the name of the person you wish to message. At the bottom of their profile is "send message" . Click on that and go for it.

Extreme Potato your email address is still showing, if you cannot delete it youself the please send a PM to Cindy (Webmaster) and ask her to do it for you.

Having said that if you click on edit and got to the relevant post, highlight the address and then right click on it, from the menu that appears select cut and the address should be deleted. Now scroll down and press  submit post and the edited message will be posted.

Hope this helps.
