At least you wouldn't need much anchor line.

Was this on a hired unit if so please tell me where I would love to try it myself, have tried jet ski but this looks like a world of fun we watched some in WA but they were privately owned.

smile no this is my very own creation,, i"m a founding member of the Adelaide Misfits land sailing club and the photos were taken on our first day out a few weeks ago,, we sail on a beach just north of Adelaide, not sure where you are but if you're near adelaide anytime i can take you "out for a spin"wink

anyone that lives in or near adelaide or is passing through over the summer and wants to "have a go" let me know and i'll see what i can arrange, the misfits also have a facebook page if anyone wants to follow our "adventures" as we will be spreading our sails in search or other places to sail,, beaches dry salt lakes and so on, the facebook page is Adelaide Misfits Social Land Sailing club but it's more just a group of us who want to do something different.....

There's also one that's like a skate board with big rubber wheels and a para sail you launch and away you go Little difficult until one becomes accustom to handing the sail and maintaining balance, great fun on the hard sand as the tide runs out
