This is the original I saw advertised ages ago, not the one Aldi was advertising a while back.

Got notification last week that the Item has been withdrawn from sale.   Got my refund already, but very disappointed.

Second time a seller has withdrawn them from sale, but no-one will explain to me why.

Cheers,

Sheba.

I have a gasmate one. First time I used it it caught fire at Greens lake. You have to make sure the gas cylinder is properly engaged. Even now, it requires quite a bit of fiddling with to get it in properly.

My problem is how/where can I store the cylinders in the van safely. Have had reports that too many jostles over a corrogated road can puncture them. So, for now, its in the shed at home. I'm terrified of gas.

I remember that Chichi. Fortunately it has never happened to me. I carry mine in a pocketed canvas rack at the back of the cupboards. Between the cupboard and the back lift up door. I feel they are quite safe there. They are cushioned between the wall and the portable gas cooker, upright with no movement.

Is that a Double one though ChiChi ?  Didn't know Gasmate made them.

If so, where did you buy it please ?

Cheers,

Sheba.

Wrong girl ChiChi.   I have one single for the Campervan, and one for the house, for when the Power goes out.  Never had a problem with either.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Different stove Keith.  The Spinifex one uses a Single gas bottle.  The one I was talking about uses 2 Butane Canisters.

Cheers,

Sheba.
