When I went on my first long run to Cairns, I was told by some-one who should have known better, that I only needed 35 all around.
The result was wear where there should have been none on the tyres. Consequently needed new tyres all around.
Then I noticed the better mileage per tank of fuel.
I'm going on the recommendation of the Guy I buy my tyres from Marj. He is trustworthy.
Check with yours, and see what he says. It might depend on how much weight you're carrying, and where, too. My guy said 45 for the front, because of the position of the motor.
Cheers,
Sheba.

just out of interest, while looking at some of the toyota hi-ace poptops and hi tops, i notice some have the bed/lounge at the front and kitchen at the back, and others have the bed / lounge at the back with the kitchen at the front.. i kind of think id prefer the one with the bed at the back, then i could leave it made up all the time.. seing as it will only be me.. (maybe one day)
Hi dawa - welcome to the forum - you will meet lotds of great people as you have no doubt discovered all ready. I have a small pop top caravan and the roof is a bummer to put up - I've done something to my shoulder doing it and now have regular physio and lovely orange weights for my exercises
I too am a quilter and have bought a small sewing machine to take on long trips - it is also good for retreats and workshops 'cos the "good" one weighs a ton!!
Cheers Helen
