gday wombat have you tried this gear and can we be sure that it is virus free I have been using as a basic tool picasa 3 and have recently purchased pinnacle studio 12 but am always interested in something new as long as its not too complex as I am certainly not a technocrat,

Hi AT,

no I have not tried these programs, I use Paint Shop Pro x4 and animation shop.

If you want to use any program from a web site just download it and b4 you install or exe it run it through your virus checker

the Gizmo site is normally virus free.

Gimp is a very good free program and has been around for years.

I would not use picasa, when it first came out a few years back, it took over my current photo editing software, so I stay away from that program, but if it works for you then stick with it.
