I just saw that as well BarbandDaz.   Only seems a few months ago he was up here at the Home Show.  How did it happen ?  He wasn't that old.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Very sad and must have been quick which would have been a blessing.  Can't find anything about it online.

He spent the weekend with us up at Manar one Easter.....very genuine bloke.

Yes, that is very sad. I saw him at the Camping Show a few years ago. Very genuine bloke. I hope his passing was quick.

RIP Tommo.

Tommo was a great & geniune character of the bush.

I loved his TV series where he travelled up the cape & back down to Straddie.  I can still picture him 'diving' out of his van into the surf, on one of the SEQ islands.

I regularly make his chillie jam  (from his book  'Camp Oven Cooking with Tommo) ...

At our BBQs I usually open a new jar & spread it on the second side of the steak.  The jar of jam then becomes a very welcome gift to my BBQ friends.

Thanks Tommo ..  RIP.
