Green Lake Fly Over

Happy New Year all,

I have arrived home from my trip up to Townsville and have had my Granddaughter fix for another few months, next time up will be by road, my first big trip. I fly Jetstar as they do a direct flight and as we approached Melbourne I looked out as we flew just to the West of Green Lake, I waved to all you at GL so I hope you waved back I noticed there was a lot of happy campers all lined up around the edge of the lake I know it was Green Lake as I am familiar with the flight path by now. 15 up and 15 back. Very hot and humid up there so didn't get to do much as my pregnant Daughter was not 100% and the humidity knocked me around a bit too (must be getting older) Came home to 36 and 40 tomorrow, few! Oh well, better than cold, at this stage anyway.

That wasn't you who did the low flypass yesterday afternoon. If so you must have broken every rule in the book. LOL

Some idiot in a light plane?? decided to do a few flypass just above the water divebombing the boats. Quite a sight and lots of photos taken.

Sorry we missed you Doug, If it was dark at the time we did see planes going over as could see their lights flashing, same direction every night.

No Marj it wasn't me in the small plane I was in a much bigger one and it was around 12.30pm, we were not far up as we were in landing mode by then but I did see a few boats out on the lake and plenty of large ants (people).

I would have liked to go across from Townsville to "Maggie" bill but my Daughter wasn't up to it, maybe in April when I drive up. We did fly over you though, around 9.20am yesterday (Sunday). Looked really nice down there I must say. Enjoy those 4 A's.

I think I heard the plane fly over. It was crowded, but a lot of fun was had by all.
It was a bit humid up as far as Emerald last week. Very hot across very wet country after recent flooding.
